10 Beliefs one needs to hold in order to be an effective vocal trance channel.

Beliefs that are necessary for one to truly develop yourself as a channel are as follows: Preceding all of these beliefs is: YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY

1. To believe and to know that you are connected to God/Goddess/All that Is. This sounds obvious and one can intellectualize this is so. However, regarding being a channel, that belief asks of you a deeper experience and deeper KNOWING of your connectedness to God/Goddess all That Is. It is worthwhile to check out how strongly you believe you are connected to the Divine. This is a fundamental belief. You are a conduit for the Divine already. How strongly do you believe the Divine comes through you? It can be very easy to deny that: to get caught up in the human ego, the limited self, and the human illusions of limitation. As a channel you are able to suspend ‘all things human’ and know experientially your connecting to the Divine.

2. By way of one’s inherent connection to the Divine one can also be tangibly connected to an Unseen Friend that is of the Divine. You can be a conduit of the Divine through an Other that you channel. It is important to know within yourself that you are a conduit of the Divine and as you can also be a conduit for the Divine as a human being, so too you can also be

a conduit of the Divine that is your Unseen Friend. Believe that, know that. This and number one above are the fundamental, foundational beliefs for you to hold in your channeling process.

3. You are lovable and you deserve these connections. You are not a horrific sinner. You were not born of sin (as some religions would have it) but you were born out of love. You deserve to be a conduit of your own divinity. And you deserve to be a conduit of the divinity of another. Why not? For the channeling process to be ‘do-able’ you also need to believe.

4. Unseen Friends exist and have a reality. Theirs is a reality outside of space and time but none the less a reality.

5. The reality of the Unseen Friends can connect with the physical reality of space/time. Humans are capable of making the connection with Unseen Friends. The human brain has the capacity to develop the 6 th sense and the sensing of the ‘other’ existences (or realities) Make this belief personal “I have the capacity to develop extra sensory perceptions.”

You have the capacity to develop extra sensory perceptions such as telepathy and everything to do with the third eye. You also can develop the capacity to translate from telepathy into words (spoken or written) or even healing energy. Believe you can develop your intuition to know your Unseen Friend. (Hard to believe you can breathe underwater? Is channeling just as strange to you?

But you have seen other people channel (not breathe underwater). It is possible to channel…now you need to believe it’s possible your yourself.

6. One has the ability to connect to one’s own personal non-local consciousness – and this can be developed. This refers to the part of YOU outside of space/time – your Higher Self. Believe and know that connection experientially. When you hold that it is just a hop, skip

and jump over to knowing you can connect with other non-local consciousness.

7. This connection with and Unseen Friend is beneficial and has value. This belief keeps the dedication to channeling alive. As you see the value in channeling it does not become the latest fad or ‘People magazine-like ‘been there, done that” activity. Motivation is important. See the value in channeling wisdom from unseen friends.

8. Believe channeling is valuable for others as well as you. First channel for yourself. This builds the belief channeling is valuable for yourself and is needed for personal and spiritual growth for yourself. From there you can see it is of value for others. The clearing and cleansing process your unseen friends wish to help you with is mandatory in order for quality channeling to happen. You don’t need to be of certain spiritual height in order to channel - the channeling itself leads one to spiritual heights. When you channel for yourself you

can get the ‘rocks’ out of the way. The need for spiritual growth will always be with you…

9. Life is going to get better. For all that the channeling process involves and for all the channeling relationship brings, life is going to be better.

10. Channeling is part of an evolution of consciousness. Believe in the evolution of consciousness. This is not something you think about all the time. But if you don’t believe consciousness is evolving, it would be hard to channel wouldn’t it? So this is a mandatory belief in order to channel one must believe consciousness is evolving, because channeling is part of an evolution of consciousness.
